Tomorrow Night the Jungle Opens: Live Plant Sale at 6PM

Every now and then something a little chaotic happens in the jungle - Live Plant Sale

Tomorrow evening is one of those moments.

At 6pm on Instagram, I’m going live for a one-hour plant sale, and if you’ve never joined one before, it’s somewhere between a plant shop, a collector’s meet-up and mild horticultural madness.

Plants will be pulled straight off the shelves and shown properly. Leaves turned, structure explained, genetics discussed, and occasionally I’ll probably talk myself into offering a price I later question.

Because apparently restraint isn’t my strong point.

What Actually Happens During the Live Plant Sale?

For one hour the jungle becomes a live marketplace.

I pick up a plant.

I show it properly.

We talk about what makes it interesting.

And if someone wants it, it goes.

Simple.

No guessing from photos.

No wondering how big the leaves really are.

No mystery about the condition or structure.

You see the plant exactly as it is.

And if you’ve been around the plant world long enough, you’ll know that makes a huge difference.

Some Of The Plants You Might See

I’ve been quietly putting plants aside for tomorrow.

Collector Monsteras with structural character.

Begonias that look like they belong in a sci-fi film.

Hoyas with venation that collectors obsess over.

A few specimens that most garden centres wouldn’t even attempt to stock.

Some are rare.

Some are reduced.

All of them were chosen because they evolve well in indoor jungles.

Live-Only Offers

Here’s the important bit.

The plants themselves will still exist after the live.

But some of the offers won’t.

During the hour there will be:

• Flash reductions

• Bundle deals

• A few surprises I haven’t even decided on yet

And once the live ends, so do those.

So if you’re joining, come ready.

Watch The Reel First

To get a feel for what tomorrow might look like, I’ve put together a short reel showing a few of the plants that may appear.

Think of it as a small preview of the jungle.

You can watch it here:

How To Join

It’s very simple.

Instagram Live

Tomorrow evening

6pm – 7pm UK time

Just head to my Instagram page and join the live.

If you want the best chance of grabbing something interesting, turn on notifications and arrive early.

The good plants rarely sit around for long.

One Last Thing

Collection of rare houseplants including Monstera, Begonia and Hoya displayed on shelves inside the Bearded Plantaholic tropical plant shop.

This jungle has grown far beyond what I ever imagined when I first started sharing plants online.

The live sales are one of the few moments where it genuinely feels like the community is all in one place.

Collectors. Beginners. Curious plant people.

All gathered around a screen looking at leaves.

Which is oddly wonderful.

So if you fancy spending an hour inside the jungle tomorrow evening…

I’ll see you there. Oh, and if you make it to the end of the live there will also be a special surprise!

One Love Tiny Phone People xx
