I’m Honestly Blown Away by the Response to My Book

When I first started sharing plants online, it was never with the expectation that one day I’d be writing a book about them.
It started with a few videos. A few thoughts. A bit of jungle chaos.
And yet here we are.
Over the past few weeks since the book launched, something quite extraordinary has happened. Messages have been arriving from all over the place. Emails. Comments. Instagram DMs. Photos of people reading the book with a cup of tea next to a Monstera. Stories from people who say the book has changed the way they think about plants.
Some of the messages have genuinely stopped me in my tracks.
People telling me they finally understand their plants.
Collectors saying they’ve learned things they didn’t expect.
Beginners saying they now feel confident enough to build their first jungle.
And a few messages that were far more personal than I ever imagined when I sat down to write the first page.
The truth is, I wrote this book because I wanted plant care to feel less intimidating and more human. Plants aren’t fragile ornaments. They’re resilient, adaptive living things that quietly teach us patience.
Apparently that idea has resonated.
So first of all, thank you.
To everyone who has bought the book, shared it, recommended it to a friend, or sent me a message telling me what it meant to them — I genuinely appreciate it more than you probably realise.

If you have already read the book and enjoyed it, there’s one small thing that helps more than almost anything else.
Leaving a review.
It might only take a minute or two, but reviews help other people discover the book. They help it reach new plant lovers who might be standing exactly where you once stood, wondering why their fern looks offended with them.
If you purchased the book from Amazon, Waterstones, a garden centre, or anywhere else, leaving a quick review on that platform really does make a difference.
Even just a couple of sentences.
Your words carry far more weight than any marketing ever could.
And if you have already left one — thank you again. Truly.
The Reviews So Far
Some of the reviews that have already come in have been incredibly kind.
People describing the book as part plant guide, part philosophy.
Others saying it helped them finally understand what their plants were trying to tell them.
Seeing those words has been surreal.
I’ll share a few screenshots below because honestly, they deserve to be celebrated.
A Quick Note if You Haven’t Grabbed the Book Yet
If you’ve been thinking about getting the book but haven’t yet, there’s a little window right now that might help.
Until 20th March, Amazon has reduced the price to just £11 and something (which still feels slightly ridiculous to say out loud).
So if you’ve been curious about it, this might be the moment.
You can find it here:
The Jungle Continues
Writing the book was a strange experience. It was months of thinking about plants, people, resilience, mistakes, growth and the odd philosophical tangent that slipped in along the way.
Seeing it now in people’s homes, on bookshelves, next to their plants… that’s something I still haven’t fully processed.
But I’m incredibly grateful for it.
So thank you again to everyone who has supported the book so far.
And if you do have a spare minute to leave a review, it really does help more people discover the jungle.
One love, tiny phone people.
