The Jungle Doors Are Open This Weekend… 4th & 5th July!

Plantstock has been and gone.

Firstly… thank you.

Seeing so many of you wandering around the farm, chatting about plants, laughing together and making memories is something I’ll never take for granted. What started with around a hundred people squeezed into my dining room has somehow grown into an event that brings hundreds of plant lovers together every year, and that’s completely down to all of you.

Now that the dust has settled, the signs have started coming down and my feet have almost forgiven me, I’ve been wandering back through the container and realised something…

There are still some absolute gems waiting to find their forever homes.

Not because nobody wanted them.

Not because there’s anything wrong with them.

Simply because Plantstock was such a whirlwind that a few plants never had their moment.

So rather than rushing to get everything photographed, listed on the website and packed away, I’ve decided to do something a little different.

For this weekend only, I’m throwing the jungle doors open.

That’s right.

No booking system.

No appointment slots.

No rushing.

No pressure.

Just turn up between 10:00am and 6:00pm and spend some time surrounded by tropical plants.

If you’ve never visited before, my shop isn’t your typical garden centre. It’s an insulated shipping container that’s slowly been transformed into a tropical escape. The moment you step inside you’re surrounded by towering leaves, climbing plants and more shades of green than your eyes know what to do with. The reggae will be playing, there’ll be chilled juice waiting for you, and we’ll have plenty of time for a proper chat about plants.

Whether you’re looking for your very first houseplant or hunting for something a little more unusual, I’d love you to come and have a wander.

But that’s not all…

For this weekend, Mum and I are joining forces once again.

We’ll also be opening Mum’s Greenhouse, and if you’ve never explored it before, you’re in for a treat.

While my container is packed full of tropical houseplants, Mum’s greenhouse is bursting with its own treasures. You’ll find beautiful outdoor plants, cacti, succulents and plenty of hidden gems that never fail to tempt even the most disciplined plant lover.

Between the two of us, there’ll be hundreds of plants to explore, so whether you’re creating an indoor jungle, sprucing up the garden or simply looking for your next leafy obsession, there’s every chance you’ll head home with something you didn’t know you needed.

None of the plants currently available in my container are on the website.

These are the plants you won’t stumble across while scrolling online. The only way to see them is to come and explore in person.

Sometimes the best plant finds aren’t the ones you’ve spent weeks searching for.

They’re the ones you discover when you’re simply wandering through a jungle with no particular plan.

One little favour…

You don’t need to book.

You don’t need a ticket.

You don’t even need to tell me you’re coming.

But if you know you’re planning to pop over, I’d really appreciate a quick message beforehand. It just helps me get a rough idea of how many tiny phone people might be descending on the farm, so I can make sure there’s enough chilled juice in the fridge and enough time to have a proper natter with everyone.

Come and find a little bit of joy.

Life can feel pretty hectic sometimes.

This weekend doesn’t have to be.

Come and wander through the jungle.

Explore Mum’s greenhouse.

Listen to some reggae.

Discover plants you won’t find online.

Have a chat.

Take your time.
