Join us live this Sunday at 7pm

We’re going live on Instagram this Sunday, 6 September, at 7pm for a proper plant sale — with exceptional deals, unusual finds, giveaways, and a few freebies for customers buying during the live.

We’ll be bringing out a selection of plants from the container, including stock that has not even made it onto the website yet. Some will be familiar favourites with a live-only price; others will be one-off finds or unique plants that may not come around again.

If you enjoy a good plant bargain, want something a little different, or simply fancy seeing what is hiding in the container, come and join us live. Everything will be clearly numbered, named, and priced as we go, so you can claim the plants you love in real time.

How our Instagram Live plant sales work

Every plant shown during the live will have:

• A plant number

• The plant name

• Its usual website price, where relevant

• Its special live-sale price

To claim a plant, comment “sold” followed by the plant number. For example: “Sold 12.”

The first “sold” comment that appears on our screen gets first refusal on that plant. We know that Instagram comments can sometimes appear in a different order for different people, and we never want that to feel unfair. We have to work from the order we can see on our own screen, as that is the only consistent way for us to run the sale.

If the live starts lagging or comments seem to be playing up, the simplest fix is usually to exit the live and come straight back in again.

Payment and postage

After the live, we’ll contact the successful buyers with their total. You can pay either by PayPal or directly into our business account.

Please include your Instagram name as the payment reference, then send us a screenshot of your proof of payment so we can match everything up quickly and get your plants sorted.

Postage and packaging is a flat £9.99, whether you buy one plant or a whole bundle. So if you have your eye on more than one, it is well worth claiming the ones you genuinely love.

We ask that payment is made within 12 hours of us contacting you. If we have not received payment and proof within that time, we will offer the plant to the next person who commented to claim it.

Free collection from our container shop

Collection is also available — and honestly, we love it when people come to see us.

If you choose collection, there is no postage charge, saving you the £9.99. You can book a free collection slot through our website, come and pick up your plants, and have a look around the container shop while you are here.

We ask that collection orders are picked up within one week of the live sale. It keeps things manageable for us and means your new plants get to you quickly.

Giveaways, freebies and live-only surprises

This Sunday is not just about selling plants. We’ll have a few little surprises along the way, including giveaways during the live and some freebies for customers making a purchase.

We want our Instagram Lives to be a fun way to discover plants, pick up a deal, and feel part of the community around the container shop. There may be things you have seen before, there may be plants that never reach the website, and there may be a few bargains that disappear in seconds.

Our weekly Thursday Instagram Lives begin next week

After this Sunday, we’re making it official: we plan to go live on Instagram every Thursday at 7pm.

Thursday night will be the regular place to find fresh plants, container finds, live-only prices, special offers, and whatever exciting stock has landed that week. Some lives may be a small, relaxed plant hunt; others may be packed full of new arrivals and far too many plants to list individually online.
