Live Instagram Plant Sale Tomorrow 12th March 6pm GMT

When 59 Plants Disappeared in Two Hours

Something slightly ridiculous happened the other night.

I decided to do my first ever Instagram Live plant sale.

Now I’ll be honest with you.

I was genuinely nervous about it.

Standing in front of a phone talking to thousands of people about plants is one thing. I do that all the time. But standing there with shelves full of plants thinking “what if no one buys a single one?” is a completely different level of vulnerability.

There is nowhere to hide on a live stream.

It’s just you, the jungle… and the tiny phone people watching.

So when we pressed “Go Live”, I had absolutely no idea what was about to happen.

What followed honestly blew my mind.

Within less than two hours… 59 plants were gone.

Not gradually.

Not politely.

They disappeared like biscuits in a staff room.

And the messages, the support, the laughter, the chaos of the chat… it reminded me of something really important.

This isn’t just a shop anymore.

It’s a community of plant lovers, people who understand the joy of watching a new leaf unfurl, the thrill of finding a rare plant you’ve never seen before, and the quiet therapy of caring for something living.

To everyone who joined that live sale, bought a plant, said hello, or simply watched along…

Thank you.

Genuinely.

Running a small family business means every single order matters. Every kind message matters. And every person who chooses to support us instead of a big anonymous retailer means more than you probably realise.

There were moments during that live where I nearly got emotional.

Because what we’re building here together feels pretty special.

Round Two: The Jungle Market Returns

So tomorrow…

We’re doing it again.

And this one is slightly different.

Tomorrow we’re clearing the rest of our current stock before a big restock arriving this weekend.

Which means two things:

First, some absolute bargains may appear.

Second, once these plants are gone, they’re gone. Because the new delivery coming in this weekend will be completely different.

That’s the thing about plants.

No two shipments are ever the same.

Different specimens. Different surprises.

It keeps things interesting.

How the Live Plant Sale Works

If you’ve never joined one before, it’s beautifully simple.

During the live I’ll walk through the jungle, picking up plants one by one and showing them properly on camera.

You’ll see:

• Rare houseplants

• Interesting unusual species

• Some discounted plants

• A few special propagations that aren’t always on the website

If you see something you love, you simply claim it in the chat.

It’s part plant shop… part chaotic jungle market… and honestly one of the most fun ways to buy plants online.

And judging by the last one, things can move quickly.

Very quickly.

Why We Do These Lives

The internet can sometimes feel a bit… distant.

You click a product.

Add it to basket.

Checkout.

Done.

But plants are living things. They deserve a bit more personality than that.

Going live allows me to actually show you the plant you’re buying, talk about it properly, answer questions, and share a few laughs along the way.

It feels more like walking into a real plant shop.

Just with thousands of people standing in the aisles.

A Huge Thank You

Before tomorrow’s live happens, I just want to say something again.

Thank you.

To everyone who’s supported this little jungle business.

To everyone who watches the videos.

To everyone who shares the posts.

To everyone who buys a plant and gives it a new home.

None of this exists without you.

And seeing 59 plants find homes in under two hours was one of those moments where you sit back afterwards and think…

Bloody hell. This is actually happening.

Join the Live Tomorrow

So if you fancy grabbing a plant, having a laugh, or just watching the chaos unfold…

The jungle will be open.

The plants will be ready.

And if the last live sale was anything to go by…

Things might get a little wild.

See you there.

One love, tiny phone people.
