Christmas Posting Dates for Plants – Please Read Before Ordering

Christmas is nearly upon us, which means festive chaos, courier pressure, and living plants that still deserve to arrive safely, warm, and alive.


To make sure every plant leaves us in the best possible condition, we have set clear Christmas cut-off dates for posting orders. Please take a moment to read the information below before placing an order.



Final Christmas Posting Dates



Last order date for pre-Christmas dispatch:

Wednesday 17th December 2025


All orders placed by Wednesday 17th December will be posted on:

Thursday 18th December 2025


This is our final plant dispatch before Christmas.




Orders Placed After Wednesday 17th December



Any orders placed after Wednesday 17th December 2025 will not be posted immediately.


Posting resumes on:

Monday 5th January 2026


This pause is intentional. Plants sitting in cold warehouses, vans, or depots over Christmas is a risk we will not take. We would rather delay dispatch than compromise plant health.




Christmas Free Cutting / Gift – Still Included



Good news.


All orders placed in December will still qualify for our Christmas free cutting or gift, regardless of whether they are posted before Christmas or in January.

If you order in December, you still get the festive extra. No loopholes. No sadness.

Why We Do It This Way



We are a very small, hands-on, family-run plant business. Every plant is checked, packed, and posted by us. There is no warehouse team. No conveyor belt. No automated fulfilment robot named Dave.


Christmas is the busiest and most unpredictable time of year for couriers, and plants are not socks or novelty mugs. They are alive.


Holding orders and posting them in January allows us to:


  • Avoid plants being stuck in cold delivery depots

  • Pack carefully rather than rush

  • Protect your plants from unnecessary stress or damage

  • Start the new year strong with happy, healthy arrivals




Planning a Gift?



If you are ordering as a gift:


  • Orders placed by Wednesday 17th December will be dispatched on Thursday 18th December

  • Orders placed after that will arrive in January but still include the Christmas freebie

  • You can always add a note at checkout if you want us to include a message
