Philodendron ‘Delta Force’ — The Evolutionist
Not all hybrids are experiments. Some are revolutions. Philodendron ‘Delta Force’ is one of those rare creations where two species collided and made something entirely new — an apex form that feels engineered by nature herself.
Broad, triangular leaves radiate confidence. There’s geometry in every vein, symmetry in every lobe — a perfect balance between architectural form and organic chaos. Its glossy surface catches light like green glass, and as it matures, each new leaf seems more deliberate than the last.
No one leaf is identical. They shift subtly in shape and proportion, as though the plant itself is learning from its own growth. That’s the fascination of Delta Force — it evolves before your eyes.
It prefers warmth, consistent humidity, and a light touch with watering. Too much care, and it sulks. Too little, and it reminds you with drooping leaves. Find the middle ground, and it rewards you with a kind of elegance that looks sculpted, not grown.
This is a plant for those who appreciate evolution — not just in the biological sense, but in the emotional one. It’s a living metaphor for growth under pressure. If you’ve ever reinvented yourself, you already understand Delta Force.
Anthurium 'Delta Force' - 7cm/20cm
The following aroid mix I would like to share with you is working well for my Anthurium:
- leca (15%)
- Orchid Bark (20%)
- Perlite (25%)
- Horticultural grit (20%)
- Worm Castings (15%)
- Compost (5%)
Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.
