The Baby Box
The following aroid mix I would like to share with you is working well for my plants:
Potting Soil (30%)
Orchid Bark (30%)
Perlite (30%)
Charcoal (5%)
Worm Castings (5%)
Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.

All packaged very well & arrived safely.
4x new mystery babies awaiting for me to explore them.... Then pow! Two rare new babies that I didn't even know exisited or even wanted. And two other cute lil additions to the jungle.
Rubber plant- shivereana...wow who knew this bad boy existed. Totally obsessed. And a brand new type of plant to the collection: rhaphidophora puberula variegated. Thank you...must stop now though, got no mote room 🤣

My little plants arrived really well packed and in top condition. A good variety with different characteristics to get to love. I’ve popped them into glass homes to help them develop and maintain a temperature. Love them!
It was like Christmas, only I knew I'd like what was in the box! Four perfectly formed, well rooted, some with little leaves just waiting to unfurl, well wrapped and fabulously exciting to open and see what treasures I'd been sent. Only downside is there was nothing to say what they were, so after a bit of googling I'm pretty sure they are alocasia 'jacklyn', alocasia 'silver dragon', aglaonema or philodendron pink princess, and a philodendron of some sort. Now I'm terrified I'll kill them!
Exciting purchase, arrived quite quickly, very well packed to protect my young plants, a great assortment however I would have liked to know exactly what they are, one had a sticker to say it was a philodendron ( which I love and have quite a few unusual varieties) these thrive in my home. We have found similar on the website of the other three.

Was greeted at my door by the postie who gave me a big solid box of hair products. Confused, I opened it to find four baby plants, a sticker and a leaflet saying thank you. The plants were lovely, great condition. I immediately repotted them and sat and pondered for a few hours working out what they were. Finally I gave up and messaged Jonny on fb saying I was stuck. I am so pleased he quickly replied with what they were, and soon sent me a voice message thanking me.
It's my second baby box from Jonny and I'm more than pleased with it! Every plant is different, nothing is boring! Anthurium (regale?), Epipremnum (?), Tillandsia (?) And a Ficus shivereana that I forgot to take a photo of. You can't go wrong with those boxes!

How thrilled was I to receive my baby box! Not only was the packing excellent the four gorgeous baby plants inside were beautiful, exotic and in pristine health. What more could a plant lady want. I’ve potted on and they’re already pushing out new leaves.

It’s true, it’s a mystery but sadly for me I already had all the plants in the box , that’s the risk you take but the plants are great quality but also only three and not the four as stated so didn’t feel it was great value, Will buy from the bearded plantaholic again just not a mystery box .
