Philodendron mayoi - 12cm pot / 25cm+
Philodendron mayoi gets more wonderfully divided as it develops. The young foliage is the starting point; mature leaves can become deeply lobed, bringing a loose, almost fern-like outline to a plant with unmistakable aroid character.
Grow it upwards with support and follow the changing leaf shape over time. That progression is far more satisfying than expecting a baby plant to arrive looking like a botanical poster. Give it useful indirect light, warmth and a draining root mix, then let the roots establish. Fresh leaves are built from working conditions, not from the volume of encouragement shouted at them. Although a little encouragement does improve the afternoon.
One live plant in a 12cm nursery pot. Minimum height 25cm, including the pot. Listed heights are minimums; your plant will usually be taller. Leaf count, colour and markings vary naturally. Decorative pot not included.
Pet friendly: No — best kept away from pets that chew plants.
