Philodendron tortum - 6cm pot / 10cm+
Philodendron tortum takes the broad-leafed houseplant idea and removes most of the leaf. Long, narrow divisions give it an airy, almost skeletal shape, with wonderfully awkward-looking new growth unfolding into something elegant.
This little 6cm-pot plant lets you follow that development from the start. The finer foliage makes a brilliant contrast beside chunky Monstera leaves and textured Alocasias. Give it bright indirect light, warmth and a mix with plenty of air around the roots. Let fresh leaves open without help. Watching that tangle sort itself out is one of the joys of growing tortum; interfering with it tends to be considerably less joyful.
One live plant in a 6cm nursery pot. Minimum height 10cm, including the pot. Listed heights are minimums; your plant will usually be taller. Leaf count, colour and markings vary naturally. Decorative pot not included. This is a young plant; mature leaf shape and size develop with time and growing conditions.
Pet friendly: No — best kept away from pets that chew plants.
