Rhaphidophora tetrasperma 'Variegata' (Monstera minima) - 12cm / 25cm+
Deeply cut leaves, climbing growth and pale colour breaking through the green: the plant sold as Monstera minima 'Variegata' has plenty of jungle character without the huge juvenile leaves of a deliciosa.
Monstera minima is a trade name commonly used for Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, rather than a true miniature Monstera. Give the vine a support as it develops and you can follow those divided leaves upwards. The markings will vary, which keeps the next leaf interesting. An airy mix, warmth and useful filtered light make a much better foundation than treating variegation as an invitation to water more often.
One live plant in a 12cm nursery pot. Minimum height 25cm, including the pot. Listed heights are minimums; your plant will usually be taller. Leaf count, colour and markings vary naturally. Decorative pot not included.
Pet friendly: No — best kept away from pets that chew plants.
