Monstera standleyana 'Variegata' - 12cm pot / 25cm+
Monstera standleyana 'Variegata' takes a different route: elongated, glossy leaves and climbing stems, with colour breaking through the green. No need to wait for classic Swiss cheese holes. The appeal is already there in the shape and markings.
Give it a support as it grows and watch the vine organise itself around something it can attach to. It brings a lovely narrow-leaved contrast beside rounder Monsteras and velvet Anthuriums. Bright indirect light supports healthy growth; a mix with air around the roots keeps watering manageable. Each new leaf adds its own version of the pattern, which is the bit that keeps you coming back for another look.
