Scindapsus 'Silver Splash' - 12cm pot / 20cm+
Scindapsus 'Silver Splash' does exactly what you hope when you hear the name: silver spreads and mottles across green leaves, with soft, irregular boundaries that make each one worth inspecting. Along a vine, the effect is beautifully layered.
Let it trail where the foliage can catch filtered light, or give it a support as it develops. The pattern is part of the living leaf, not something that needs polishing into submission. An airy mix and a little drying at the top between waterings help keep the roots healthy. Enjoy the new growth and resist the idea that a beautiful plant requires constant intervention. Sometimes it just needs us to stop fiddling.
