Begonia darthvaderiana ‘Green Spots’
This incredibly rare Begonia from Borneo has become legendary among collectors due to its dark, almost black leaves dotted with luminous green spots.
Begonia darthvaderiana grows in limestone caves and shaded forest areas where humidity remains extremely high and light levels are very low.
Because of its specialised habitat, this species grows best in controlled environments such as terrariums or humid plant cabinets.
Interesting fact: The leaf texture helps the plant shed water quickly during intense tropical rainfall.
Care tips:
High humidity is essential.
Low to moderate light conditions.
Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy.
