Begonia ‘Rouge Variegata’ is an extraordinary ornamental Begonia prized for its deep red tones and unpredictable variegation.
Begonias originate from tropical and subtropical forests worldwide where they often grow in shaded areas with consistently moist but well-draining soil.
This variety produces striking foliage that changes colour intensity depending on light levels. Under bright indirect light the red pigmentation becomes much more pronounced.
Interesting fact: Many Begonias contain natural crystalline structures in their leaves that reflect light, creating the shimmering effect seen on certain species.

- Orchid Bark (20%)
- Perlite (30%)
- Charcoal (5%)
- Worm Castings (5%)
Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.
