Scindapsus treubii ‘Dark Form’ – The Shadow Queen of the Vines
Scindapsus treubii ‘Dark Form’ is dark, dramatic, and drop-dead gorgeous. With thick, waxy, near-black foliagethat shimmers in the light, this plant looks like it was pulled straight from a jungle noir dream.
Each leaf is a deep charcoal-green — sometimes looking jet black — with a subtle metallic sheen. Unlike the splashy silvery varieties, this one brings the moody elegance. It climbs beautifully, tolerates lower light, and adds gothic jungle glamour wherever it grows.
Why This Plant Is a Must-Have:
Almost black foliage – Dark, bold, and endlessly stylish
Thick, waxy leaves – Built-in drought resistance
Climber or trailer – Moss pole or hanging pot perfection
Rare but easy to care for – Beginner-friendly with collector appeal
Thrives in indirect light – Low effort, high reward
Give it bright, indirect light (or tolerate lower light if needed), water when the top inch of soil is dry, and let it climb or cascade. A chunky, airy mix is perfect — and if you want those leaves big and bold, train it up a moss pole.
Limited stock – Scindapsus treubii ‘Dark Form’ is the sleek, shadowy statement plant your jungle’s been missing. Add a little darkness to the mix. 🖤
