Ficus sagittata ‘Variegata’ – The Delicate Vine with a Blush of Magic
Soft, trailing, and quietly breathtaking — Ficus sagittata ‘Variegata’ is a dainty creeping fig with a twist. Its petite, arrow-shaped leaves are beautifully edged in creamy-white, often dusted with subtle blush-pink variegation that catches the light like a dream.
This is the plant equivalent of a watercolour painting — gentle, artistic, and just rare enough to make collectors do a double take. It’s perfect for trailing from shelves, softening terrariums, or climbing up a moss pole in a cloud of creamy-pink foliage.
Why This Plant Is a Must-Have:
Cream and pink variegation – Delicate, pastel-toned elegance
Trailing or climbing – Versatile and softens any space
Petite arrow-shaped leaves – Subtle texture with botanical flair
Great for terrariums, shelves, and hanging planters
Thrives in bright, indirect light with moderate humidity
Keep it in a well-draining mix, lightly moist but never soggy, and give it a spot with filtered light. This one’s easy to love and even easier to style.
Limited availability – grab this rare, pink-tinged vine before it disappears into someone else’s dreamy collection.
Ficus sagittata ‘Variegata Pink’ - 9cm/20-30cm
The following aroid mix I would like to share with you is working well for my Ficus:
- Potting Soil (30%)
- Orchid Bark (30%)
- Perlite (30%)
- Charcoal (5%)
- Worm Castings (5%)
Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.

This plant too came two days after posting when the uk was in another heatwave so maybe the leave damage is due to that .
