Begonia listada - 12cm pot / 25cm+
Begonia listada has a bright green line running down a dark, softly textured leaf. It is such a simple contrast, and it works so bloody well. Then you notice the coloured stems and the underside, and realise the plant has been keeping a few more details back.
Grow it where you can see it closely. This is a plant for noticing the small things, especially fresh leaves opening and the pattern sharpening as they mature. It enjoys warmth, gentle light and a mix that stays slightly moist without becoming heavy and airless. Good conditions do more for the leaves than endlessly fussing over them.
One live plant in a 12cm nursery pot. Minimum height 25cm, including the pot. Listed heights are minimums; your plant will usually be taller. Leaf count, colour and markings vary naturally. Decorative pot not included.
Pet friendly: No — best kept away from pets that chew plants.
