Philodendron 'Florida Beauty' makes a compelling argument for owning more shelves. Those sculpted leaves, splashed with cream, yellow and green, look like someone has been painting jungle antlers. I wouldn't have asked them to stop either.
There is a proper botanical story behind the shape. Florida Beauty comes from the cross between Philodendron pedatum and Philodendron squamiferum, both climbing species. Young foliage starts simpler, then develops the deeply indented outline that makes a mature Florida so recognisable.
Add variegation to that changing silhouette and the next leaf becomes an event. A streak here, a broad pale patch there, green running through the middle. You're watching form and colour develop together, and that is far more absorbing than it has any right to be.
