Monstera adansonii ‘Variegata’

Monstera adansonii ‘Variegata’ is a rare variegated form of the famous Swiss cheese vine.

This species originates from Central and South American rainforests where it grows as a climbing vine beneath dense forest canopies.

The cream and white variegation occurs because parts of the leaf lack chlorophyll, which slows growth compared to the green form.

Interesting fact: When allowed to climb vertically, Monstera adansonii can produce much larger leaves with more pronounced fenestrations.

Care tips

Bright indirect light to maintain variegation.

Keep soil lightly moist but well drained.

Provide climbing support for larger foliage.

Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.
We pack all of our boxes with love and alot of care. During the winter period we add a heat pack to your order. We will not send plants on a Thursday or Friday to avoid them being held over the weekend. We post your 'package of happiness' within 3-5 working days after your order is placed and use Royal Mail 1st class tracked postage. We require photos of any damaged items before return and will issue either a part or full refund on agreement.
