This young collector's philodendron has a changing palette of green, cream and warm caramel tones. New growth can look quite different as it opens and hardens, which is a large part of the appeal. In a 6cm nursery pot, it is a grow-on plant with plenty of development still ahead of it; the more dramatic mature leaf shape takes time.
Give it warm, stable conditions and bright light softened from harsh sun. An airy mix keeps the roots breathing, and watering should follow the pot's needs rather than your excitement about a new leaf. Expect individual markings and colour changes. You are buying a plant, not a paint chart.
