This young tropical foliage plant brings long green leaves with pale mottling and a distinctive textured look. In a 6cm pot it fits easily into a growing collection, while offering a very different outline from the rounder leaves around it. It has the potential to grow into a much bolder, upright houseplant with time and good conditions.
Give it bright, filtered light, a warm room and a mix that drains freely. Water once the surface begins to dry, then let excess drain away. One serious point among the crocodile nonsense: its sap and foliage are irritating if handled carelessly or chewed. Keep it away from pets and children and wear gloves when cutting it.
