Anthurium Red Spider x forgetii - 9cm pot / 30–40cm
£104.99Price
Anthurium Red Spider x forgetii is a very good excuse to become unreasonably interested in one leaf.
The supplier's named cross brings a collector's Anthurium with a long, heart-shaped outline and pronounced contrasting veins. New foliage can look quite different before it hardens, and the shape and colouring of individual plants will vary. That unfolding development is what I enjoy about these; you are growing a plant with its own character.
At this 9cm-pot size, I would make it a feature in a warm, humid collection with bright filtered light. Keep the root mix airy and lightly moist, with excess water able to drain. Airflow matters alongside humidity. Give new leaves space to expand, and resist the heroic urge to help them open.
