Monstera adansonii 'Variegata' - 6cm pot / 20cm
Monstera adansonii 'Variegata' has holes in its leaves and cream splashed across the green. Somehow this counts as having its life together.
This young variegated Swiss cheese vine brings a lighter, finer outline to the collection than a large deliciosa. Its perforated foliage and irregular markings are the appeal, with each new leaf offering a different balance. The 6cm nursery pot is a small starting point for a vine you can train up support as it grows.
Give it bright, indirect light and keep the roots in an airy, freely draining mix. Water once the top starts to dry and empty the outer pot afterwards. Pale portions can be more delicate, and the amount of cream varies between leaves. I would aim for strong, balanced growth rather than a vine made entirely of white tissue.
