Philodendron 'Snowdrift Variegata' - 6cm pot / 20cm
Philodendron 'Snowdrift Variegata' makes a fairly convincing argument for rearranging the entire plant shelf around one pale leaf.
Fresh foliage can emerge light and creamy, with green flecks and washes that become more noticeable as the leaf matures. That changing contrast gives the plant its appeal. This is a baby in a 6cm pot, so it is a good choice for someone who enjoys watching the plant develop into a fuller specimen.
I would place it beside darker foliage in bright, filtered light. Keep the root mix loose and well drained, water when the surface begins to dry and protect it from cold draughts. New leaves naturally change colour as they harden. A leaf becoming greener is not automatically a plant emergency requiring three repots and a motivational speech.
