🪙 Philodendron mamei
Silver-Stamped Tropical Aroid – Creeping, Shimmering & Seriously Classy
The Philodendron mamei is one of those plants that looks painted by moonlight — broad, heart-shaped leaves adorned with natural silver variegation that shimmers under soft light.
This species is a creeper, meaning it spreads horizontally with time, making it perfect for a long planter, hanging basket, or even a mossy plank if you’re feeling bold. It’s an easy-going aroid with the look of a high-maintenance diva… but none of the drama.
🌿 Jungle luxe without the attitude.
Care Tips:
• Bright, indirect light brings out that silver shimmer
• Water when the top inch of soil is dry
• Loves humidity but adapts well
• Grows best in a chunky, well-draining aroid mix
• Creeping growth habit – give it space or guide it where you want it to go
📦 Shipped rooted and ready to roll, in our signature chunky mix. Every leaf is a silver masterpiece — no two the same.

Philodendron mamei - 6cm/13cm
The following aroid mix I would like to share with you is working well for my Philodendron:
- Potting Soil (30%)
- Orchid Bark (30%)
- Perlite (30%)
- Charcoal (5%)
- Worm Castings (5%)
Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.
