Scindapsus ‘Jade Satin’
Scindapsus ‘Jade Satin’ is a beautiful foliage plant admired for its thick, velvety leaves and rich deep-green colouring.
Scindapsus species are native to tropical forests across Southeast Asia where they grow as climbing vines beneath forest canopies.
The thick, waxy leaves help the plant retain moisture in humid rainforest environments.
This cultivar is prized for its subtle satin sheen which gives the foliage a luxurious appearance.
Care tips
Bright indirect light.
Allow the top of the soil to dry slightly between watering.
Provide climbing support if larger leaves are desired.
Scindapsus 'Jade Satin'– 12cm / 20-30cm
The following aroid mix I would like to share with you is working well for my Scindapsus:
- Potting Soil (30%)
- Orchid Bark (30%)
- Perlite (30%)
- Charcoal (5%)
- Worm Castings (5%)
Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.
